Pronoun Definition & Function

DEFINITIONS PRONOUN
Pronoun is part of the part of speech. Pronoun pronoun is used as a noun (person or object). Noun only be changed by using Pronoun. This pronoun usage in order to avoid repeating the mention of names or objects, so using the pronoun will be shorter. Example: Dito works in the hospital. He always goes to the hospital by motorcycle. (Dito worked at the hospital. He always went to the hospital to use sepedaa motor). Pronoun (pronoun) He as a pronoun of Dito (Subject).


FUNCTIONS PRONOUN
In contrast to the noun, can serve as a Noun:
1. subject
Subject here are people who do.
Example: They eat.

2. Objects
The object here is to target or targets of the subject (the person who did it).
Example: Jenny killed him.

3. The object of the preposition
Which includes the preposition is in, on, at, with, by, and others. Pronoun is placed after the preposition is called the object.
Example: She was surrounded by them.

4. Complement
Pronoun can also be as a complement (complement).
Example: Lisa is My sister.



TYPE PRONOUN
Similarly, the noun, pronoun also has some kind of need to know. The types of pronouns are:

1. Personal pronoun
This type of pronoun is one type of pronoun used to indicate the person, object, or other specifics. Type of pronoun is subject to change depending on their role (as subject, object, possessive, reflexive), the number or the number of people (singular or plural), person to how (the first, second, or third), and by gender (female, male , or neutral). See the table below.

a. Subject
The subject pronoun can be seen in the table above.
Example:
·         I am a Businesswomen.
·         You are a captain.
·         She is a beautiful girl.
·         We are bestfriend.
·         They are my classmate.

b. object
The object pronoun can be seen also in the above table.
Object can be any object which is a verb or preposition.
Example:
·         I love him.
·         You are shorter than me.
·         Dina's phone was borrowed by her mother.

c. possessive
Pronoun to describe possession / ownership. Possessive pronouns to be seen seen in the table.
Example:
·         His grandmother lives in Canada.
·         This is mine.

d. Reflexive
Reflexive is used to indicate "reflection" or "reflection" of the pronoun itself. For reflexive pronoun can also be seen in the table.
Example:
·         I Make this cake by myself.
·         She goes to school by herself.

2. Demonstrative pronouns
Demonstrative pronoun is a pronoun used to indicate the object or person being addressed.
Demonstrative pronoun for this are:
Example:
·         Reviews These stuffs is mine.
·         That is Hendra's handphone.

3. Relative / Conjuctive Pronoun
Noun type is used as a pronoun that connects two sentences or pronoun is usually used as a pronoun. Which includes for the relative pronoun / conjuctive pronoun is who, that, Whose, which, Whom, where, etc. The pronoun pronouns can be interpreted as "the".
Example:
·         The girl who wear a hat is my old friend.
·         The motorcycle that I bought one years ago was broken.

4. Indefinite Pronoun
Indefinite pronouns can be used as a pronoun people or things that are not specific. Included in this pronoun is anything, something, everything, none, everyone, someone, every, etc.
Example:
·         My mother is my everything.
·         She wants to a make something special for her sister.


5. Reciprocal Pronoun
Reciprocal pronoun is used as a pronoun to indicate the connection or relationship between two or more individuals. Pronoun including the each other and one another.
Example:
·         They always help each other.
·         Key and Joy are talking about another one Reviews their life.

6. interrogative Pronoun
Interrogative pronoun is a pronoun used to ask a question or leave a question. Which belong to the interrogative pronouns are who, Whose, Whom, what, where, which, why, how, and when.
Example:
·         Who Make this cake?
·         Which of car that you want to by?
